The Crisis

In 2021, over 107,000 people died from overdose deaths in the United States and more than 100,000 people died from alcohol-related causes, up 26% during the pandemic. More than 100 people die every day from overdoses in United States.

As the deadly impact of addiction and mental health has intensified across our nation and region over the past two years—with soaring rates of death, illness, disability, and nearly unimaginable losses for families, employers, and communities—a group of Pittsburgh recovery community leaders is proposing a bold new resource that will support long term, effective recovery for individuals, families and clergy who are looking for spiritual healing and recovery.

The Need

Pittsburgh has an urgent need for the Pittsburgh Retreat to help individuals, families and clergy who are suffering to find lasting recovery and transformed hope for a better future.

The Solution

A group of Pittsburgh recovery professionals  have come together to launch the Pittsburgh Retreat; a place for spiritual, long term recovery.
